This private gallery in South London, for the artist Damien Hirst, involved the conversion of a terrace of listed industrial buildings.

The ground and upper floors within the five buildings were connected, allowing the gallery spaces to be used flexibly in many combinations, to accommodate both large and small exhibitions.

The scheme includes the Pharmacy 2 restaurant, a shop, and administrative offices for the gallery, which shows exhibitions of Hirst’s extensive collection of contemporary art. The gallery is open to the public free of charge and won the RIBA Stirling Prize in 2016.
