Project Description
castle-davis advised the gallery and artist on legal and construction issues relating to the installation of a new mezzanine floor and division of the gallery located in the old Midland Bank on Piccadilly, by Edwin Lutyens.
The fully functioning ultra-real installation by the Swiss artist Christoph Buchel converted the pristine gallery into a scuffed, municipal-looking community Centre that discombobulated visitors and provided a kind of immersive theatre in which they became unwitting actors.
